Maple Bacon Doughnut!!!!!

I am in Heaven! This Doughnut is from a Gourmet Doughnut shop in SLC. I don't live close but was going through town and decided I had to stop and get one. It was truly AMAZING!!!
Now I know some of you are thinking "gross". But trust me it is wonderful. Don't you ever dip your bacon in syrup? It is just like that, but better.

So I decided I needed to make my own since 140 miles away was not worth it every time I was in the mood. So I got a maple doughnut from local grocery store, fried up some bacon and Waalaa!!! Sorry I couldn't wait to try it and forgot to take the picture until I had eaten some of it. :) Now it wasn't as fabulous as the professionals doughnut, but it was still fantastic. And it only cost me $0.89.
